GAWF Greece Trip - May 2010
Dom has just returned from a four day visit to “Naxos” one of the Greek islands, it was a busy trip with him having to see over 20 horses or donkeys per day, many of them had seriously overgrown feet as you can see on the pictures here and in our gallery.
One of the biggest problems he encountered on this particular trip was the use of hobbling; the locals do this to try and tame the donkeys and to stop them running off. Dom and the on duty vet spent lots of time trying to explain the consequences of hobbling hopefully they have listened to them!
